With multiple families in mind the owners made 3 master suites (2 kings,1 queen) with private baths and an additional 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins) with a shared large 2 sink bathroom. There are 4 full baths, 1 half Bath, and one 3 person Steam Room/Shower ensuring there is never a queue on a fresh powder morning. Enjoy our covered balcony to stargaze or grill in any weather. Apres ski is simple: Ski to the back of the house, warm up in front of the wood stove, get a massage in the dedicated private therapy room, soak in the steam room, or sit in the covered outdoor Hot Tub.

The active owners skied one day on a Blue Bird powder day in 2002 and quickly realized Kicking Horse had everything to be a true winter and summer destination. In the winter there are endless powder days, great wide open beginner and intermediate terrain, world class skate and traditional XC sking trails, mild winter temperatures and convenient access to everything you need for a stress-free vacation. In the summer enjoy gondola served hiking and biking making Kicking Horse one of the few places that you can use the mountain year round. Or visit the Grizzly Bear refuge on the mountain or hike to a local glacier. Being located in the Columbia River Valley and near the Kicking Horse River offers the opportunity for White Water Rafting and Jetboating only 10 kilometers away. Also access 4 national parks (Glacier, Banff, Lake Louise, Yoho) all within a 1.5 hours drive.

Local area restaurants serve great local inspired cuisine offering dishes featuring locally raised Bison as well as directly sourced West Coast Salmon. Sip local wines from the Okanagan, BC region and dine at the highest restaurant in Canada (Eagles Eye).
